I have a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur and a Professional Master's degree in Computer Engineerng from University of California, Irvine. My Ph.D. thesis is titled, "Image and Video Compression techniques in CIE L*a*b* color space". As a part of my Ph.D. work, I have gained a good experience of working with H.264/AVC JM reference software, Just Noticeable Difference (JND) based quantization and the Contourlet Transform. I have also worked on CNN-based block-size split decision prediction in HEVC.
